Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for recruitment to seven categories of Grade III posts in the Northern Province.

General Eligibility Requirements
- The applicant must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Applicants must possess good physical and mental health and be of good character.
- Applicants must satisfy the Northern Province permanent-residence requirements stated in the official circular.
- Applicants must be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years of age as at 03 July 2026.
- All required educational, professional and other qualifications must have been completed on or before the closing date.
- Selected candidates must be willing to serve in any part of the Northern Province.
- The appointments are permanent and pensionable, subject to the applicable service conditions and a three-year probationary period.
Basic Educational Qualifications
- Pass the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in at least six subjects in one sitting.
- The six passes must include Sinhala or Tamil and Mathematics.
- Candidates must have at least four Credit Passes at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination.
- Pass at least one subject at the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in any stream, excluding the Common General Test.
Applicants must possess at least one year of recognised experience as an Automobile Mechanic and must have completed an approved full-time Automobile Mechanic vocational training course of at least one year at NVQ Level 4.
Candidates should carefully read the complete circular because post-specific professional qualifications and service conditions may apply.
Competitive Examination
The open competitive examination is expected to be held in Jaffna during July 2026. Candidates may sit the examination in Sinhala or Tamil. The selected examination medium cannot be changed later.
Paper 01 – Intelligence Test
Duration: 1 Hour
Marks: 100
Paper 02 – Language Proficiency & General Knowledge
Duration: 1½ Hours
Marks: 100
Candidates are required to obtain the prescribed minimum marks in each paper. Qualified candidates will be considered according to merit order. The interview will be used to verify qualifications and supporting documents.
How to Apply

- Complete the application accurately and attach the original examination-fee receipt in the specified place.
- Pay Rs. 500 at a Divisional Secretariat situated in the Northern Province in favour of the Secretary, Provincial Public Service Commission, Northern Province.
- Applicants applying for more than one position must submit a separate application and pay a separate examination fee for each position.
- Write the name of the examination applied for on the upper-left corner of the envelope.
- Send the completed application by registered post to reach the Provincial Public Service Commission on or before 03 July 2026.

උතුරු පළාත් පරිවාස හා ළමාරක්ෂක සේවා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ III ශ්රේණියේ තනතුරු වර්ග 7ක් යටතේ පුරප්පාඩු 22ක් සඳහා විවෘත තරඟ විභාගයට අයදුම්පත් කැඳවා ඇත.
පාලක, නිවාස මාතා, සහකාර පාලක, සහකාර නේවාසිකාගාර භාරකරු, සහකාර නිවාසාචාර්ය, සහකාර නිවාසාචාර්යවරිය සහ වෘත්තීය උපදේශක යන තනතුරු සඳහා බඳවා ගැනීම් සිදු කෙරේ.
වයස් සීමාව අවුරුදු 18–45 අතර වන අතර විභාග ගාස්තුව රු.500කි. වැටුප් පරිමාණය රු.45,230 සිට රු.78,360 දක්වා වේ. අයදුම්පත් භාරගන්නා අවසන් දිනය 2026 ජූලි 03 වේ.

வயதெல்லை 18 முதல் 45 வயது வரையாகும். பரீட்சைக் கட்டணம் ரூ.500 ஆகும். சம்பள அளவுத்திட்டம் ரூ.45,230 முதல் ரூ.78,360 வரையாகும். விண்ணப்ப முடிவுத் திகதி 03.07.2026 ஆகும்.
