Examination Procedure – The Syllabus as follows :- 
(1) General English - Marks 100 – Time 03 Hours The Syllabus A suitable level of proficiency on the following forms of grammar in the written language is expected from the candidate :

  • Sentences(simple/compound/complex/ compound complex);
  • Relative clauses
  • Reported speech
  • Adjectives and adverbs

  • Prepositions.

5th Amendment of the Service Minute of Sri Lanka Principal's Service has been released. THE Minute of the Sri Lanka Principals Service published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 1885/31 dated 22.10.2014 of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as amended by the Gazettes Extraordinary mentioned in Part I below is amended as following Part II. General Instructions to School Principals

 



Education Ministry has released some Instructions to officers of Sri Lanka Principal's Service.

  • Non-compliance with placements/transfers in the Sri Lanka Principals' Service and granting temporary attachments to national schools
  • Reversion of officers recruited to Grade III of the Sri Lanka Principals' Service in the year 2023 to the post of the teaching service previously held.
  • Checklist of attachments to be submitted with requests for reversion to the teaching service previously held as per Public Administration Circular No. 02/2018
  • Action taken against officers who did not assume duties as per placement.
