Department of Export Agriculture Replanting Programme 2026 – Call for Applications
The Department of Export Agriculture has called for applications for its Investment Assistance Programme to help re-establish export crops damaged by Cyclone Ditwah. This programme is available for eligible farmers cultivating pepper, coffee, and cardamom under the specified conditions. The closing date for applications is 30 April 2026.
📌 Eligible Crops
Pepper, Coffee (Arabica / Robusta), and Cardamom
✅ Eligibility Conditions
- Crops must be completely destroyed and unsuitable for commercial harvesting
- Affected cultivated land must be at least 20 perches
- The land must not have previously received disaster compensation
- Damage will be verified by Department of Export Agriculture officers
💰 Relief Assistance
- Free provision of planting materials (plants)
- Investment assistance up to Rs. 425,000 per hectare, including plant costs, after replanting
