Salary & Age

Salary Scale: MA 2-1-2025
Monthly Salary: Rs. 50,540 – 87,710
Age: 18 – 35 years
Upper age limit is not applicable for internal candidates.

Main Qualifications

O/L passed in 6 subjects in one sitting with 4 credits including Sinhala/Tamil, Mathematics and English.
A/L passed in at least 3 subjects, excluding General Common Test.
Computer Applications course of not less than 3 months.
Stage I of Library and Information Science Diploma from a recognized university / Sri Lanka Library Association.

Recruitment Method

Recruitment will be done through a written competitive examination and/or structured interview.

External Applicants: 70%

Internal Applicants: 30%
