Japan SSW Skill Tests in Sri Lanka – July 2026

A valuable opportunity for Sri Lankans who are interested in working in Japan under the Specified Skilled Worker programme.

Skill tests for Japan’s Specified Skilled Worker – SSW programme are scheduled to be conducted in Sri Lanka during July 2026. The tests will be conducted through the Prometric testing system at the selected examination centre in Colombo.

Japan SSW skill tests are scheduled to be held at ACBT, Colombo 05, on selected dates from 1 to 27 July 2026. Test categories include the Japanese Foundation Test, Nursing Care, Food Service, Agriculture, Construction and Accommodation. Applicants must prepare an active email address and create a Prometric ID before applying. Examination fees can be paid only by Visa Card.

Prometric Registration

Instructions Before Applying

Prepare an Email Address

You must have an active email address that you can access throughout the registration and examination process.

Create a Prometric ID

A Prometric ID is mandatory to register for the skill test. Visit the official Prometric SSW website and follow the registration instructions.

Pay the Examination Fee

The examination fee can be paid only by Visa Card. Payment may also be made using a Visa Card belonging to another person.

Check Your Registered Email

After registration, examination centre details and the relevant address will be sent to the applicant’s registered email address.
