Salary Scales

Senior Lecturer Grade I
Rs. 160,520 – 187,820 p.m.
Academic allowance: 116% + Rs. 2,200

Senior Lecturer Grade II
Rs. 138,980 – 171,320 p.m.
Academic allowance: 116% + Rs. 2,100

Lecturer (Unconfirmed)
Rs. 121,340 – 136,040 p.m.
Academic allowance: 102% + Rs. 1,800

Lecturer (Probationary)
Rs. 94,400 – 118,400 p.m.
Academic allowance: 91% + Rs. 1,200

Director / Educational Technology
Rs. 181,730 – 246,780 p.m.

Computer Programmer
Rs. 81,285 – 104,845 p.m.

Note: Salary and academic allowances will be paid according to the applicable Commission Circular. Cost-of-living and other approved allowances will also be paid.

2. Attach certified copies of the relevant certificates.
3. Send the application by registered post or courier to: Deputy Registrar/Academic Establishments, The Open University of Sri Lanka, Nawala, Nugegoda.
4. Write the post applied for on the top-left corner of the envelope.
5. Submit a separate application for each post.

Applicants employed in Government Departments, Corporations, Statutory Boards, the UGC or Higher Educational Institutions must forward applications through the Head of the Institution. Late, incomplete or illegible applications will be rejected.
