Instructor Vacancies 2026
Applications are invited to engage suitably qualified instructors on a contract basis under the North Western Provincial Department of Industrial Development.
About the Recruitment
The North Western Provincial Department of Industrial Development has called for applications from qualified candidates to serve as instructors at handloom and small-industry training centres operating within the North Western Province.
Appointments will be made for the year 2026 on a contract basis. Candidates must possess the relevant educational and professional qualifications specified for the selected field.
Available Fields
01. Handloom and Textile Industry
A relevant handloom or textile-industry training certificate from a government or government-recognised institution is required.
02. Light Engineering
Relevant light-engineering training or an accepted NVQ Level III qualification, including an applicable welding qualification.
03. Woodwork Technology
Relevant woodworking training or an NVQ Level IV Wood Craftsman (Furniture) qualification. CNC-related training will be considered an additional advantage where applicable.
04. Coir Industry
A recognised coir-industry training programme of the duration specified in the official notice is required.
Common Educational Qualifications
- Applicants must have passed six subjects at the GCE Ordinary Level Examination in one sitting, including the required language, Mathematics and other specified subjects.
- Applicants must have passed at least one subject at the GCE Advanced Level Examination, excluding the General Test, as stated in the notice.
- Educational qualifications will be considered in accordance with Public Administration Circular No. 28/2016.
- Applicants must also possess the professional qualification relevant to the field for which they apply.
Allowance and Selection
- A monthly allowance of Rs. 50,000 will be paid.
- Candidates will be selected through an interview based on their educational and professional qualifications.
- The engagement will be made on a contract basis for the relevant training activities of the department.
