Applications are invited through an open competitive examination to fill existing vacancies in the post of Revenue Inspector – Grade III in the Department of Local Government of the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Public Service.

Educational Qualifications

G.C.E. Ordinary Level

Applicants should have passed six subjects in one sitting at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination, including credit passes in:

• Sinhala, Tamil or English Language
• Mathematics
• Two other subjects

G.C.E. Advanced Level

Applicants should have passed at least one subject at the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination. The Common General Test and General English are not counted for this requirement.

Age and Residence Requirements

• Applicants should be not less than 18 years and not more than 30 years of age as at the closing date.
• The applicant or the applicant’s spouse should have maintained continuous permanent residence in the Sabaragamuwa Province for three years.

Salary Scale

The post is assigned to the MN-01-2025 salary category under Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025 dated 25.03.2025.

Monthly salary scale:
Rs. 45,230 – 10 × 540 – 11 × 630 – 10 × 890 – 10 × 1,190 – Rs. 78,361
