 The Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government has released Combined Services Circular No. 04/2026 regarding the Annual Transfers – 2027.

Officers belonging to the relevant Combined Services are requested to submit their transfer applications through the MISCO Online System before the specified deadlines and follow the instructions given in the circular. The annual transfers will be effective from 01 January 2027

Annual Transfer Circular Released

The Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government has released the official circular regarding the Annual Transfers 2027 for officers in the Combined Services.

The circular was issued on 31 July 2026, and the annual transfer arrangements are expected to take effect from 01 January 2027.

Officers and heads of institutions are advised to carefully read the relevant circular and complete the required online procedures within the specified dates.

வருடாந்த இடமாற்றங்கள் 2027 ஜனவரி 01 ஆம் திகதி முதல் அமுல்படுத்தப்படவுள்ளன. சம்பந்தப்பட்ட அலுவலர்கள் MISCO இணையவழி முறைமையின் ஊடாக விண்ணப்பிக்க வேண்டும்.

Online applications and required documents should be submitted before this date.

18 September 2026

Transfer committee decisions should be completed before this date.

02 October 2026

Transfer decisions should be informed to ministries and departments.

16 October 2026

Closing date for submitting appeals to the review committee.

30 October 2026

Review committee decisions on appeals should be completed.

13 November 2026

Appeal decisions should be officially communicated.

27 November 2026

Final date for submitting appeals to the Public Service Commission.

01 January 2027

Annual transfer orders will come into effect.

Officers in the Combined Services can submit their annual transfer applications through the official MISCO online system.

Apply through MISCO Online System

Officers should submit only one online application and ensure that all personal, service-station and preferred transfer information is entered correctly.
