Applications are invited from suitably qualified male Sri Lankan citizens to join the Artificer Branch of the Sri Lanka Regular Naval Force.
Selected candidates will be recruited as sailors and provided technical and professional training for service in the Sri Lanka Navy.
🔧 Technical Fields / Vacancies
- ⚙️ Marine Engineering / Engine Room Artificer
- 🚗 Automobile Engineering / Automobile Artificer
- ⚡ Electrical Engineering / Electrical Artificer
- 📡 Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering / Radio Electrical Artificer
- 🚢 Hull Repair & Ship Construction Engineering / Shipwright Artificer
👤 General Qualifications
- 🇱🇰 Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka
- 👨 Male candidates
- 🎂 Age: 18 – 24 years as at the closing date
- 💍 Must be unmarried
- 📏 Minimum Height: 165.10 cm (5'5")
- ⚖️ BMI: 17 – 27
- 📐 Chest: Minimum 81.28 cm / 32 inches
- 👁️ Colour Vision: STD II
- 👓 Visual Acuity: 6/6 without spectacles/lenses
Candidates with distant vision of 6/12 corrected to 6/6 with lenses may also be considered according to the official notice.
🎓 Educational Qualifications
G.C.E. Ordinary Level
Candidates should have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination with six subjects, including:
- English
- Science
- Mother Tongue
- Credit Pass for Mathematics
These qualifications should have been obtained in not more than two attempts.
G.C.E. Advanced Level
Candidates should satisfy one of the following:
- Appeared for G.C.E. A/L under the Physical Science Stream
- Appeared for G.C.E. A/L under the Biological Science Stream
- Obtained Simple Passes for Science for Technology and Engineering Technology under the Technology Stream
💰 Salary & Allowances
💰 Rs. 99,009.00
According to the official Gazette, payments include basic salary and applicable allowances.
- Basic Salary – Rs. 47,834.00
- Cost of Living Allowance – Rs. 17,800.00
- Uniform Cleaning Allowance
- Special Allowances
- Ration Allowance – when applicable

ශ්රී ලංකා නාවික හමුදාවේ Artificer ශාඛාව සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ලත් පිරිමි අයදුම්කරුවන්ගෙන් අයදුම්පත් කැඳවනු ලැබේ.
වයස අවුරුදු 18 – 24 අතර විය යුතු අතර අවිවාහක විය යුතුය. අධ්යාපන හා ශාරීරික සුදුසුකම් නිල ගැසට් නිවේදනයේ සඳහන් පරිදි සපුරාලිය යුතුය.

விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் 18 முதல் 24 வயதிற்குள் இருப்பதுடன் திருமணமாகாதவர்களாக இருக்க வேண்டும். கல்வி மற்றும் உடற்தகைமை தொடர்பான நிபந்தனைகள் உத்தியோகபூர்வ வர்த்தமானி அறிவித்தலில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளன.
