Assistant Director – Administration & Legal
📢 Vacancy Announcement
The Central Environmental Authority invites applications from qualified, experienced, dynamic and self-motivated candidates for the following permanent positions.
1. Assistant Director – Administration
External Applicants:- A UGC-recognized degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Public Management or Supply Management.
- A minimum of five years of post-qualifying executive-level experience in Personnel Management, Human Resource Management, General Administration or Supply Management after obtaining the first degree.
- Possession of the qualifications required from external applicants; or
- Five years of satisfactory service in Human Resources Management or General Administration at Junior Manager level in the CEA.
2. Assistant Director – Legal
External Applicants:- A UGC-recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Law and enrolment as an Attorney-at-Law.
- A minimum of five years of post-qualifying experience at the Bar as a practising lawyer.
- Possession of the qualifications required from external applicants; or
- Five years of satisfactory service as a Legal Officer at Junior Manager level in the CEA.
💼 Employment Information
The advertisement states a salary step of Rs. 81,710 with effect from 01.01.2026 and Rs. 91,690 with effect from 01.01.2027, under Management Services Circular No. 01/2025.
The stated age limit does not apply to applicants who are already serving in the State Service.

📝 Recruitment Procedure
Applicants who are shortlisted based on the required qualifications and experience will be called for a written competitive examination and/or a structured interview. Selection will be made according to the merit list and the approved Scheme of Recruitment.

மத்திய சுற்றாடல் அதிகாரசபையின் உதவிப் பணிப்பாளர் (நிர்வாகம்) மற்றும் உதவிப் பணிப்பாளர் (சட்டம்) பதவிகளுக்குத் தகுதியான விண்ணப்பதாரர்களிடமிருந்து விண்ணப்பங்கள் கோரப்படுகின்றன.
இவை நிரந்தரப் பதவிகளாகும். விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் 22 முதல் 45 வயதுக்கு உட்பட்டவர்களாக இருப்பதுடன், பொருத்தமான பட்டத்தையும் ஐந்து வருட பட்டத்திற்குப் பிந்தைய அனுபவத்தையும் கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டும்.
