✅ General Eligibility

• Applicant should be a citizen of Sri Lanka
• Should be in good health
• Must be ready to live in Azerbaijan during the period of study
• Only one online application should be submitted

📘 Undergraduate Eligibility

• Age below 35 years as of 15.09.2026
• Minimum 3 passes at G.C.E. (A/L) 2024
• Minimum IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL 40
• Should not be registered as an internal student in a state university in Sri Lanka

🎓 Master’s Eligibility

• Age below 45 years as of 15.09.2026
• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university by UGC Sri Lanka
• Minimum IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL 50

🎓 PhD Eligibility

• Age below 45 years as of 15.09.2026
• Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from a recognized university by UGC Sri Lanka
• Minimum IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL 50

• Tuition fee for the study period
• International economy class flight ticket
• Monthly/Yearly living allowance
• Medical insurance allowance
• Visa and temporary residence permit support

⚠ Special Note

• Medical-related undergraduate degrees are not recognized by SLMC as of now
• Selected candidates will not be considered for UGC university admission process in Sri Lanka
• Late or incomplete applications will be rejected

📌 Selection Process

Undergraduate: Shortlisted based on G.C.E. A/L Z-score and called for structured interview.

Master’s / PhD: Shortlisted based on academic merit order and called for structured interview.

Final award decision rests with the relevant Azerbaijan scholarship awarding authority.
