Senior Lecturer

SLIIT expanded its academic portfolio with the establishment of the Faculty of Humanities and Sciences in 2017. The Faculty offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in Education, Science, Biotechnology, Psychology, Nursing, Mathematics, and Law.

We are inviting highly qualified applicants with a passion for teaching and research to join us as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

Senior Lecturer

Applicants must hold a recognized bachelor’s degree in Financial Mathematics / Statistics / Mathematics (or a related discipline) with First or Second Class Honours and a two-year research-based master’s degree (SLQF 10) in a related discipline or a master’s degree with at least 60 credits of which, not less than 15 credits equivalent to research by way of a thesis/dissertation.

Should have at least 06 years of experience in teaching and demonstrated competence in research or industry practice after completing the bachelor’s degree.

A strong record of publications in reputed journals and/or a dossier of significant contributions to professional practice is required.
