Paranthan Chemicals Company Limited, under the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Accounts Officer (JM 1-1).

Paranthan Chemicals Company Limited is a fully state-owned organisation engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of chemicals in Sri Lanka.

External Candidates – Qualifications

• A degree recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in one of the following areas:
  • Commerce
  • Accountancy
  • Finance
  • Business Administration – Finance / Accounts
  • Business Management – Finance / Accounts
• Applicants should have passed the Intermediate Examination of a recognized professional chartered institute in a subject area relevant to the post.

Internal Candidates – Qualifications

• Should possess the qualifications required for external candidates.
• Should have completed a minimum of five (05) years of satisfactory service in the post of Management Assistant – Non-Technological (MA1-2), Grade II in a subject area relevant to the post.

Age Limit

Applicants should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years.

Salary Scale

JM 1-1

Rs. 72,650/- – 1,360 × 10 – 2,040 × 18 – Rs. 122,970/-

Monthly salary will be paid according to the provisions of Management Services Circular No. 01/2025.

• Company contribution to Employees' Provident Fund (EPF): 15%
• Company contribution to Employees' Trust Fund (ETF): 3%
