Qualification: A/L Biology or Physical Science stream / 03 subjects with English at O/L

Requirement: Registered Nurse registration from relevant council

Salary Details

Salary Code: 8:3 (NT3)

Basic Salary Step: Rs. 44,295/=

Annual Increment: Rs. 795/=

Approximate Monthly Gross Salary: Rs. 119,000/=

Age Limit

Applicants should be between 18 and 45 years.

This age limit does not apply to applicants from the public service. Public Administration Circular No.299 dated 23.07.1985 will apply to ex-servicemen.

Selection Method

Each applicant should pass the structured practical tests and the interview relevant to the post.

01. Post of Pharmacist (Lower Grade)

Qualifications: Certificate of competence as a qualified Pharmacist recognized by the Sri Lanka Medical Council.
Age: Not more than 45 years
Salary Scale: U-MT 1 (III): Rs. 51,095-7x540; 10x640 – 60,575 p.m.
Salary will be paid in accordance with Management Services Circular 06/2025 and Commission Circular No. 02/2025 (i)

Method of Selection: By Interview

02. Post of Public Health Inspector (Grade III)

Qualifications: Should have passed the Public Health Inspectors Examination conducted by the Department of Health.

Age: Not more than 45 years

Salary Scale: U-MT 1 (III): Rs. 51,095-7x540; 10x640 – 60,575 p.m.

Salary will be paid in accordance with Management Services Circular 06/2025 and Commission Circular No. 02/2025 (i)

Method of Selection: By Interview

03. Post of Driver (Grade III)

Qualifications:

Passed six (06) subjects in G.C.E. (O/L) Examination with at least two (02) credit passes.
Driving license issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic for heavy vehicles with minimum three (03) years experience.

Age: Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years

Other:

Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
Physically and mentally fit to perform duties.
Should be of excellent moral character.

Applicant should submit a police report with the application.

Salary Scale: U-PL 3 (III): Rs. 48,005-16x490-55,845 p.m.

Method of Selection: Trade Test and Structured Interview

04. Post of Mason / Plumber / Welder (Grade III)

Qualifications: NVQ Level 4 certificate issued by a Technical / Vocational Training Institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission.

Age: Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years

Other:

Citizen of Sri Lanka
Physically and mentally fit
Excellent moral character

Salary Scale: U-PL 3 (III): Rs. 48,005-16x490-55,845 p.m.

Method of Selection: Trade Test and Structured Interview

05. Post of Tractor Operator (Grade III)

Qualifications:

Passed G.C.E (O/L) Examination with two credit passes.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 certification from a recognized technical institute.

G.C.E (O/L) with two credit passes and one year experience in a relevant field.

Age: 18 – 45 years

Other:

Citizen of Sri Lanka
Physically and mentally fit
Excellent moral character

Valid driving license (G1 category) required.

Salary Scale: U-PL 2 (III): Rs. 44,575-16x490-52,415 p.m.
