🎓 Required Qualifications

Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka with active professional standing.
LL.B Degree from a recognized university or successful completion of Sri Lanka Law College examinations.
Approximately 3–5+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate legal work, regulatory compliance, data privacy or a reputable law firm.
Strong knowledge of the Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, its amendments including Act No. 22 of 2025, and related regulations.
Excellent legal drafting, analytical, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
High ethical standards and the ability to independently advise senior management on compliance and data-privacy matters.
Strong attention to detail when handling confidential information and maintaining compliance documentation.

🛡️ Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage the organization’s Data Protection Management Programme (DPMP).
Ensure compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and privacy-risk assessments.
Advise management on data privacy, governance and regulatory compliance.
Manage data-subject requests and data-breach response processes.
Review contracts, vendor agreements and data-processing arrangements.
Maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
Liaise with the Data Protection Authority of Sri Lanka.
Conduct privacy-awareness and staff-training programmes.

1️⃣ Internal Auditor

Qualifications and Experience

Full qualification in ICASL, CIMA or ACCA.
A degree in Finance or Accountancy will be an added advantage.
At least five years’ experience in a similar capacity.
Experience in a private higher education institute, private sector or service industry is preferred.
Good knowledge of accounting packages, preferably QuickBooks.
Sound IT knowledge and experience in a computerized accounting environment.
Experience in corporate taxation and preparing financial accounts and budgets.
Excellent supervisory, communication and interpersonal skills.
A high level of accuracy and good written and spoken English.

💰 Salary: Negotiable
📌 Appointment: Contract or permanent cadre, subject to a three-year probationary period.

2️⃣ Senior Accounting Officer

Qualifications and Experience

Part qualification in CA, ACCA or CIMA, or full qualification in AAT.
B.Sc., B.Com. or BBM degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
At least two years’ experience in a reputed firm, institute or government service.
Good knowledge of accounting packages and computerized accounting systems.
Sound IT knowledge and experience in corporate taxation, financial accounts and budgets are preferred.
Excellent supervisory, communication and interpersonal skills.
A high level of accuracy and good written and spoken English.

🎂 Age: Below 40 years
💵 Allowance: Rs. 85,300 per month during the contract period
📌 Appointment: Initially on a one-year contract, renewable based on performance. Appointment to the permanent cadre may be considered subject to the stated probationary conditions.

📋 General Conditions

Working during weekends is essential. Two weekdays will be provided as days off instead.
The employee will be enrolled in the Employees’ Provident Fund and Employees’ Trust Fund.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
Selection will be based on performance at the interview.
