Applications are invited from suitably qualified citizens of Sri Lanka for the post of Management Assistant at the Wayamba University Township Development Project – WUTDP. The appointments will be made on a contract basis for the remaining activities of the project.

🎓 Required Educational Qualifications

  • Applicants must have passed six subjects at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination at one sitting.
  • The six subjects must include Sinhala, Tamil or English and Mathematics.
  • Applicants must have obtained credit passes for at least four subjects.
  • Applicants must have passed all subjects at the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination at one sitting, excluding the General Paper.
  • Under the old syllabus, passing three subjects at one sitting will be sufficient for the Advanced Level requirement.

👤 Age Limit

Applicants should be below 64 years of age.

All required qualifications must be completed on or before the closing date of applications.

📑 Service Conditions

The selected candidates will initially be appointed for a period of one year on a contract basis.

The contract may be extended annually based on performance and the requirements of the project.

💰 Salary and Allowances

Salary will be paid according to the relevant salary step specified in Management Services Circular No. 02/2026 dated 28 March 2026 and its relevant amendments.

Government-approved allowances applicable to the post will also be paid.

🎁 EPF and ETF Benefits

  • Employee EPF contribution: 8%
  • Employer EPF contribution: 12%
  • Employer ETF contribution: 3%
