Qualifications

• A recognized degree approved by the University Grants Commission in Public Management, Human Resource Management, Management, Commerce or Arts;
• OR a Diploma or Higher Diploma relevant to a Personal Assistant position from an institution recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission, with three years of relevant experience.

Age Limit

Applicants should be between 22 and 45 years of age.

Appointment

The appointment will initially be offered on a one-year contract. It may be renewed at the discretion of the institution, subject to satisfactory performance.

Salary

JM 1-1-2025: Rs. 72,650 + Rs. 17,800 = Rs. 90,450, subject to the conditions stated in the official notice. EPF and ETF benefits are available.

Selection Method

A written competitive examination and/or structured interview.

2. Management Assistant (Non-Technological)

Qualifications for External Applicants

• Passed six subjects at the G.C.E. O/L Examination in one sitting, with credit passes in four subjects including Sinhala or Tamil, English Language and Mathematics.
• Passed three subjects, excluding the General Paper, at the G.C.E. A/L Examination in one sitting in the Science, Mathematics, Technology or Commerce stream.
• Completed a six-month Certificate Course in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.

Qualifications for Internal Applicants

• The O/L qualifications mentioned in the official notice;
• At least five years of satisfactory service in an eligible permanent primary-level post;
• A six-month Certificate Course in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.

Applicants should be between 18 and 45 years of age. The upper age limit does not apply to internal applicants.

Salary

MA 1-2-2025: Rs. 46,220 - Rs. 84,350, subject to the salary conditions mentioned in the official advertisement.

3. Driver

Qualifications for External Applicants

• Passed six subjects at the G.C.E. O/L Examination with at least two credit passes, within a maximum of two sittings.
• A valid licence issued for driving heavy vehicles.
• At least three years of driving experience obtained after receiving the driving licence.

Qualifications for Internal Applicants

• A valid heavy-vehicle driving licence;
• At least three years of driving experience after obtaining the licence;
• At least five years of satisfactory service in a Primary Unskilled (PL1) post.

Applicants should be between 18 and 45 years of age. The upper age limit does not apply to internal applicants.

Salary and Benefits

PL 3-2025: Rs. 43,280 - Rs. 67,040, plus approved allowances. Benefits include EPF, ETF and eligibility for Agrahara medical insurance.
