Interview Notice

The Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government has released the list of qualified candidates called for the second-stage interview under the Civil Category.

The interview has been arranged for the recruitment of officers to Grade III of the Sri Lanka Engineering Service under the Open Stream recruitment conducted for the year 2024.

Interview Details

• Date: 16 August 2026
• Venue: Secretary’s Office, Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Independence Square, Colombo 07.
• Candidates must attend the interview at the time allocated in the official name list.
• The official interview calling letter has also been sent to candidates by email.

Documents to Take to the Interview

Candidates should take the originals and required photocopies of the relevant documents mentioned in the official interview letter.

• B.Sc. Engineering degree certificate or an accepted equivalent qualification
• Academic transcript
• G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination result sheet
• Birth certificate
• National Identity Card, valid passport or valid driving licence
• Required self-certified A4 photocopies
• UGC recognition letter, where the qualification was obtained from an institution other than a Sri Lankan State University
• Proof of relevant Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka membership
• Proof of valid registration with the Engineering Council of Sri Lanka
• Residence and character certificate issued by the Grama Niladhari using Form DS 04
• A legally certified affidavit when there are differences between the candidate’s name shown on official certificates

Public or Provincial Public Service Officers

Candidates currently serving in the Public Service or Provincial Public Service must also take the required service documents, including appointment and confirmation letters and documents relating to disciplinary records, salary increments and performance evaluations.
