Fraudulent Phone and WhatsApp Calls

SriLankan Airlines has warned the public about fraudsters pretending to represent the airline through regular phone calls and WhatsApp calls.

Do not respond to suspicious callers and never disclose personal, banking or financial information.

Customers should carefully verify every call, message, promotion or offer claiming to be from SriLankan Airlines before taking any action.

SriLankan Airlines Does Not Do the Following

× SriLankan Airlines does not make WhatsApp calls to customers.

× The airline does not offer remote assistance or request customers to share their mobile phone or computer screen.

× Customers will not be asked to install unfamiliar mobile applications for ticketing support.

× SriLankan Airlines never requests OTPs, banking PINs, credit-card details or other confidential financial information.

Use Only Official and Verified Channels

✓ The official SriLankan Airlines website and official mobile application are secured platforms for purchasing airline tickets.

✓ Official promotions, offers and announcements are published only through SriLankan Airlines’ verified social-media accounts.

What Should You Do?

සැක සහිත ඇමතුමක් හෝ පණිවිඩයක් ලැබුණහොත් ප්‍රතිචාර නොදක්වන්න. ඔබගේ පුද්ගලික හෝ මූල්‍ය තොරතුරු කිසිවෙකුට ලබා නොදෙන්න.

× OTP, வங்கி PIN, கடன் அட்டை விபரங்கள் அல்லது நிதி தொடர்பான இரகசிய தகவல்களை ஒருபோதும் கோருவதில்லை.

சந்தேகத்திற்கிடமான அழைப்பு அல்லது செய்தி கிடைத்தால் பதிலளிக்க வேண்டாம். தனிப்பட்ட அல்லது நிதித் தகவல்களை எவருடனும் பகிர வேண்டாம்.
