Conditions of the Competition
All photos must be captured within Sri Lanka. A maximum number of photos submitted by a person will be three (03)

Photographs in colour/ Black and White should submitted as original, unedited copy either in JPG or JPGs formats.
Photographs should be minimum of 1000 pixels.

Medium - Can submit creations in Sinhala, Tamil, English Languages and Sinhala and Tamil creations should be subtitled in English (This is not applicable for creations without dialogues)

Should have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in six (06) subjects at one sitting with credit passes in :-
Sinhala Language/Tamil Language
English Language/English Literature
Mathematics

Should have passed in all subjects at G.C.E. (A/L) Examination (except the Common General Paper) at one sitting. (Passing in 3 subjects under the old
syllabus at one sitting would be sufficient for this purpose.)

An acceptable qualification in computer applications of not less than six (06) months duration obtained from a recognized institute. & Two years of experience in the use of computer application packages.

Having obtained a Corporate Membership of a recognized professional institution in the Engineering Field. Applications will be entertained from graduates of Government/Private/International/Assisted Schools/Pirivenas and other institutions for the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (English Medium).
Those aspiring to join the teaching profession or education related organization may also apply.

Duration: 18 months (Both Saturday and Sunday from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm)

Selection: Written test in English and/or interview
School students from Russia and other countries aged 14 to 18 (inclusive), regardless of experience and knowledge in programming, are invited to take part in the Global IT Olympiad.
The key selection criteria: the participant must not be younger than 14 or older than 18 years old on the starting date of Stage I of the Olympiad; the participant must be a student of a comprehensive school.
Stages and Timing
The Global IT Olympiad consists of three stages
Individual qualifications (online)
Team qualifications (online)
Finals (in-person).
Registration for the Olympiad: March 5 to April 10, 2025 (inclusive).
Upon completion of the registration form, all participants will be offered tests to check the level of their knowledge in IT. An e-certificate will be awarded to participants according to the test results.
Online individual qualifications: from April 2 to April 15, 2025 (inclusive).
The participant can set the challenge deadline that works best for them. At the first stage, participants will be given 15 exercises which are divided into three complexity levels (basic, medium, advanced) and cover key aspects of cybersecurity, including both
theoretical and practical challenges in Information Security, Mathematical Logic, Basics
of Programming and Algorithm Development, Artificial Intelligence, including data analysis, text processing, generation of simple models.
Capture The Flag online team contest: from April 21 to April 25 2025 (inclusive).
The teams for the Olympiad will consist of five participants. They will be chosen from the best performers in Stage I. During the CTF contests, challenges will cover AI and Machine Learning, Cryptanalysis, Reverse Engineering, Web Vulnerabilities, Forensics, Algorithmic Programming.
