Applications are invited for the Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology External Degree Programme from South Eastern University of Sri Lanka

Closing Date 09.07.2025 04.09.2025

Admission Requirements

  • At least three (03) passes in all three approved subjects in one sitting at G.C.E (A/L) in any stream [Candidates who sat the G.C.E A/L in the year 2023 or before], where a minimum mark of 30% in the Common General Test.
OR
  • Those who are having SLQF Level-2 (Advanced Certificate (G.C.E A/L or equivalent))
AND

  1. Six passes including Tamil / Sinhala Language, English Language and a credit (C) pass in Mathematics in the G.C.E (O/L) examination, not exceeding two sittings.
  2. The applicants are required to pass the Selection Test.

Note :
  • The Medium of instruction of the above Programme is English.
  • The programme will only be conducted at the minimum number of enrolments.
  • Admission Process - Selection Test + Interview.
  • Payments made will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • The duration of the programme is Three (03) Academic years.
  • Mode of delivery - Hybrid mode.

Government of Sri Lanka has decided to establish a Trade National Single Window System as a single entry point for submission of documents and data requirements by the traders on their cross border trade flows (Imports, Exports and Transshipments) to the Border Trade Regulatory Agencies. The result of such process shall also be notified to the applicants through the automated Trade National Single Window System.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development established a dedicated Project Implementation Unit (PIU) to implement the proposed Trade National Single Window System. Hence, applications are hereby accepted from the most eligible candidates to fill the following positions of the PIU of the Trade National Single Window System Project.

  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • A valid driving license (light/heavy vehicle category would be an added advantage).
