Invitation for the Consultants to Review the National Education Policy Framework

Applications are invited for the Consultants to review of the National Education Policy Framework - 2020 - 2030 from National Education Commission.

Scope of the Framework :

The National Education Policy Framework addresses eight subsectors of the Sri Lankan education system:

Early Childhood Care and Education
General Education
Higher Education
Technical and Vocational Education
Pirivena Education
Special and Inclusive Education
Non-Formal Education
International School Education

Each review committee shall consist of three subject-specialized consultants. One consultant will serve as the lead expert, responsible for compiling the final review report within a specified timeframe

Qualifications and Experience Required :

A minimum of 10 years of national or international experience in the relevant education sector.
Preferably, applicants should be academics affiliated with universities or recognized educational institutions.
Preference will be given to individuals with a track record of active participation in education policy formulation and compilation of institutional or sectoral reports.

Conditions :

Applicants must not have been part of the original formulation team of the National Education Policy Framework - 2020-2030.

Note : An honorarium payment will be provided upon successful completion of the review assignment.
