Be 18 years of age or above on the closing date of applications and possess any of the qualifications mentioned below:
- Any three passes in one sitting at the G.C.E A/L Examination.
- Successful completion of any Foundation Programme conducted by the OUSL.
- Any other equivalent qualification acceptable to the Senate of the OUSL.
- Successful completion of the Diploma in Management conducted by the Department of Management Studies.
- Successful completion of the Certificate Programme in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management (ESBM) conducted by the OUSL
