Applications are invited for the following Extension Courses in English
- DIPLOMA IN ADVANCED ENGLISH FOR ADMINISTRATION AND ACADEMIC PURPOSES – (DAE)
- DIPLOMA IN ENGLISH FOR TEACHERS OF ENGLISH – (DETE)
- DIPLOMA IN ENGLISH FOR ENGLISH MEDIUM INSTRUCTION TEACHERS - (DEEMIT)
Entry Requirements For (DAE):
1. At least 3 Advanced Level passes (before 2000) or 2 Advanced Level passes (2000 and after) AND 2. The required score at the Selection Test
Entry Requirements For (DETE):
1. Teachers of English language and/or literature at a school or institution AND
2. The required score at the Selection Test
Entry Requirements For (DEEMIT):
1. Teachers teaching in the English Medium at a school or institution AND
2. The required score at the Selection Test
Course Fee : Rs 40,000/- per year
Duration : 02 Years
Scholarship for Permanent Employees of University of Colombo:
(Full Scholarships awarded to 05 Permanent Employees of University of Colombo (based on performance at the Selection Test)
An application fee of Rs. 1000/- should be paid to the Main Collection Account of the “University of Colombo” Account No. 304027100009 at any branch of the People’s Bank
