post of Probation Officer – Grade II in the Sabaragamuwa
Provincial Public Service. Recruitment will be made through an open
competitive written examination.

Basic Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be citizens of Sri Lanka.
Applicants must possess an acceptable degree from a university
recognised by the University Grants Commission in a relevant Social
Science, Social Work or related field, subject to the exact requirements
stated in the official notice.
Applicants must be physically and mentally fit to serve in any part of
the Sabaragamuwa Province.
Applicants must be of excellent character.
Applicants must be not less than 22 years and not more than 35 years of
age as at 30 July 2026.
Permanent residence requirements relating to the Sabaragamuwa Province
apply. Applicants must carefully read the official notice regarding the
required period of residence.
Written Examination
Paper 01
General Intelligence Test
Marks: 100
Duration: 1 Hour
Paper 02
General Knowledge
Marks: 100
Duration: 1 Hour
Candidates must obtain at least 40% of the marks in each written paper
to qualify for further consideration.
Examination Fee
The examination fee is Rs. 1,200.
The fee must be credited to the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council Revenue
Head 20.03.02.99, according to the instructions in the
official notice.
The original payment receipt must be securely attached to the
application. Keep a photocopy of the receipt for future reference.

சபரகமுவ மாகாண அரச சேவையின் நன்னடத்தை அலுவலர் தரம் II பதவிக்கு
ஆட்சேர்ப்புச் செய்வதற்கான திறந்த போட்டிப் பரீட்சைக்கு விண்ணப்பங்கள்
கோரப்பட்டுள்ளன. மொத்தம் 05 பதவி வெற்றிடங்கள் காணப்படுகின்றன.
விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் 30.07.2026 ஆம் திகதியில் 22 வயதிற்குக்
குறையாமலும் 35 வயதிற்கு மேற்படாமலும் இருக்க வேண்டும். பரீட்சைக்
கட்டணம் ரூ. 1,200 ஆகும். பொது விவேகப் பரீட்சை மற்றும் பொது அறிவு
ஆகிய இரண்டு வினாத்தாள்கள் இடம்பெறும். பரீட்சை சிங்களம் அல்லது
தமிழ் மொழியில் நடைபெறும். பூர்த்தி செய்யப்பட்ட விண்ணப்பங்கள்
30.07.2026 ஆம் திகதி அல்லது அதற்கு முன்னர் பதிவுத் தபாலில்
அனுப்பப்பட வேண்டும்.
