The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has published Amendment No. 04 to the Service Minute of the Sri Lanka Teachers’ Service.

The amendment was published through Gazette Extraordinary No. 2493/61, dated 19 June 2026.

Revised Efficiency Bar Examination Structure

According to the amendment, the written tests for each Efficiency Bar must be prepared to cover the relevant modules under the following structure.

Paper I

Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions

Duration: 01 Hour

Marks: 40 Marks

Paper II

Question Type: Structured Questions or Semi-Structured Questions

Duration: 02 Hours

Marks: 60 Marks
