Available Positions and Qualifications
Applicants should satisfy either Qualification Route 01 or Route 02 below.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field recognized by the University Grants Commission;
- A postgraduate master’s degree in the relevant field, associate membership or a similar professional qualification from a recognized professional body; and
- At least 12 years of post-qualifying experience at managerial level, including at least six years at senior managerial level.
- Corporate or fellow membership of a recognized professional body in the relevant field; and
- At least 10 years of relevant managerial-level experience, including at least five years at senior managerial level.
Applicants should satisfy either Qualification Route 01 or Route 02.
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the University Grants Commission;
- A relevant postgraduate master’s degree, associate membership or a similar professional qualification from a recognized professional body; and
- At least 10 years of relevant experience at managerial level.
- Class I officer of a government All-Island Service or an officer with similar status in the relevant field;
- A relevant postgraduate master’s degree; and
- At least three years of experience in a Class I post or a similar position in the relevant field.
Preferred: Competency in reviewing claims, preparing responses and interpreting contractual provisions.
Applicants should satisfy either Qualification Route 01 or Route 02.
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent UGC-recognized qualification in Civil Engineering;
- Associate membership or a similar professional qualification from a recognized professional body in the relevant field; and
- At least seven years of relevant experience.
- Class II/III or above officer of a government All-Island Service, or similar status in the relevant field; and
- At least seven years of experience in a Class II/III post or a similar position in the relevant field.
Preferred: Membership of a recognized professional institution and competency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and MS Project or equivalent.
Applicants should satisfy either Qualification Route 01 or Route 02.

Membership of a recognized professional institution and competency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and MS Project or equivalent will be added advantages.
Applicants should satisfy either Qualification Route 01 or Route 02.

- At least three years of experience in the required area of specialization.
- An NVQ Level 6 or higher qualification issued by an accepted technical or vocational training institution, relevant to the field of the post; and
- At least six years of experience in the required area of specialization.
- An NVQ Level 5 or higher qualification issued by an accepted technical or vocational training institution, relevant to the field of the post; and
- At least nine years of experience in the required area of specialization.
Applicants must satisfy both of the following requirements:
- Passed three subjects at the GCE Advanced Level Examination in one sitting.
- Passed six subjects at the GCE Ordinary Level Examination in one sitting, with credit passes in Sinhala or Tamil, English, Mathematics and two other subjects.
Age: Applicants should not be above 45 years on the closing date.
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
- Passed six subjects at the GCE Ordinary Level Examination in not more than two sittings.
- The results should include credit passes for at least two subjects, including Sinhala or Tamil.
- Computer literacy and experience as an Office Assistant will be added qualifications.
- Preference will be given to residents of the Gampaha District.
Age: Applicants should not be above 45 years on the closing date.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in foreign-funded projects.
- Membership of a recognized professional institution.
- Experience in international airport-related construction projects.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
- AutoCAD and MS Project competency, or equivalent competency, for engineering positions.
- Experience in IT, electronics and Extra-Low Voltage systems in building and infrastructure development projects, particularly for Post 05.
- Competency in reviewing claims, preparing responses and interpreting contractual provisions, particularly for Post 02.
