The University of Moratuwa invites applications from suitably qualified Sri Lankan citizens for several non-academic vacancies. Eligible applicants can apply through the official online application portal. Applicants must also print, sign and forward the system-generated application with the required documents by registered post.

Available Vacancies

01. Mason – Grade III

Qualification:
Applicants should possess a Proficiency Certificate of not less than National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 4, issued by a Technical or Vocational Training Institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission, relevant to the duties of the post.

Age Limit: Not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.

Salary Scale: U-PL 3 (III) – Rs. 48,005–16×490–55,845 per month.

Method of Selection: Trade Test and Structured Interview.

02. Laboratory Attendant – Grade III

Qualification – Option 1:
Passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in six subjects with at least two credit passes in not more than two sittings, together with an NVQ Level 2 or 3 proficiency certificate relevant to the post.

Qualification – Option 2:
Passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in six subjects with at least two credit passes in not more than two sittings, together with one year of relevant working experience and industrial skills.

Age Limit: Not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.

Salary Scale: U-PL 2 (III) – Rs. 44,575–16×490–52,415 per month.

Method of Selection: Trade Test and Structured Interview.

03. Security Guard – Grade III

Qualification:
Passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in six subjects with at least two credit passes in not more than two sittings.

Age Limit: Not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.

Additional Requirement:
A recently obtained police report must be submitted with the application.

Salary Scale: U-PL 1 (III) – Rs. 42,775–16×450–49,975 per month.

Method of Selection: Trade Test and Structured Interview.

General Requirements

• Applicants must be citizens of Sri Lanka.
• Applicants must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the post and serve in any part of Sri Lanka.
• Applicants should possess excellent moral character.
• Cost-of-living allowance and other approved allowances will be paid in addition to the basic salary.

இணைய விண்ணப்பத்தைப் பூர்த்தி செய்த பின்னர், கணினி முறைமையால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட விண்ணப்பத்தைப் பதிவிறக்கம் செய்து, அச்சிட்டு, கையொப்பமிட்டு தேவையான ஆவணங்களுடன் பதிவுத் தபாலில் அனுப்ப வேண்டும்.

How to Submit the Application

1. Create an account or sign in to the official applicant portal.
2. Complete and submit the relevant online application.
3. Download the completed system-generated application.
4. Print and sign the application.
5. Attach certified copies of all uploaded documents and certificates.
6. Send the completed hard copy by registered post before the deadline.

Important: Online submission alone is not sufficient. The signed hard-copy application and supporting documents must also reach the University on or before 03 August 2026.
