Elkaduwa Plantations Limited, under the Ministry of Plantation and Community Infrastructure, has called applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of General Manager.

🎓 Qualifications – External Candidates
Applicants should possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC); and
- A postgraduate qualification (Master's) in Management or corporate membership of a recognized professional institution in Management.
- A minimum of 20 years' experience after obtaining the first degree at managerial level.
- Out of the above experience, at least 05 years should be at senior managerial level.
- Applicants should have a proven track record in a Government or private sector mercantile institution.
👔 Qualifications – Internal Candidates
Internal applicants should have a minimum of 03 years of satisfactory service in the Senior Manager category in the post of Deputy General Manager.
💰 Salary & Benefits
Salary Scale:
Rs. 161,140/- – 12 × 4,850 – Rs. 219,340/-
(HM 2-1-2025)
Basic Salary Step:
Rs. 140,317/- as stated under Schedule II of Management Services
Circular No. 01/2025.
The appointment is permanent with entitlement to:
- Employees' Provident Fund (EPF)
- Employees' Trust Fund (ETF)
🎂 Age Limit
External applicants should be not less than 40 years and not more than 55 years.
The upper age limit will not apply to internal candidates.
📝 Recruitment Procedure
Recruitment will be based on the results of a structured interview conducted by a panel appointed by the appointing authority.
Structured Interview Marks
- Relevant additional experience – 30 Marks
- Relevant additional qualifications – 30 Marks
- Other achievements – 15 Marks
- Performance at the interview – 25 Marks
Total – 100 Marks

- Applicants should be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties of the post and be able to serve in any part of Sri Lanka.
- All applicants should be citizens of Sri Lanka.
- Applicants should be of excellent character.

பெருந்தோட்ட மற்றும் சமூக உட்கட்டமைப்பு அமைச்சின் கீழ் இயங்கும் எல்கடுவ பெருந்தோட்ட நிறுவனத்தில் பொது முகாமையாளர் பதவிக்குத் தகுதியான இலங்கைப் பிரஜைகளிடமிருந்து விண்ணப்பங்கள் கோரப்படுகின்றன.
🎓 வெளிவாரி விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள்: UGC அங்கீகரித்த பல்கலைக்கழக பட்டத்துடன் முகாமைத்துவத்தில் முதுமாணிப் பட்டம் அல்லது அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட தொழில்முறை முகாமைத்துவ நிறுவனத்தின் corporate membership பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும்.
முதல் பட்டம் பெற்ற பின்னர் முகாமைத்துவ மட்டத்தில் 20 வருட அனுபவம் இருக்க வேண்டும். இதில் குறைந்தது 05 வருடங்கள் சிரேஷ்ட முகாமைத்துவ மட்டத்தில் பெற்ற அனுபவமாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.
👔 உள்ளக விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள்: பிரதி பொது முகாமையாளர் பதவியில் சிரேஷ்ட முகாமையாளர் பிரிவில் குறைந்தது 03 வருட திருப்திகரமான சேவை பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும்.
🎂 வயது வரம்பு: 40 முதல் 55 வயது வரை. உள்ளக விண்ணப்பதாரர்களுக்கு உயர்ந்த வயது வரம்பு பொருந்தாது.
📮 விண்ணப்பங்கள் தேவையான ஆவணங்களின் பிரதிகளுடன் பதிவுத் தபால் மூலம் அனுப்பப்பட வேண்டும்.
