Educational Qualifications
Lecturer (Probationary)
Applicants must satisfy one of the qualification routes specified in the official recruitment notice. These include:
- A relevant degree with First Class or Second Class Upper Division Honours.
- A relevant Second Class Lower Division Honours degree with at least one year of specified experience or postgraduate studies.
- Relevant degrees combined with specified postgraduate qualifications.
- Recognized professional qualifications combined with the required further qualifications and experience.
- Alternative degree or recognized professional qualification routes with eight years of relevant professional and/or teaching experience.
Senior Lecturer Grade II
Applicants must satisfy the prescribed academic and postgraduate or recognized professional qualification requirements, together with at least six years of qualifying experience in the areas specified in the recruitment notice.
Salary Details
Initial Salary Step as at 01.01.2026:
Rs. 83,970 per monthInitial Salary Step as at 01.01.2026:
Rs. 121,613 per monthCost of Living Allowance: Rs. 17,800 per month, as stated in the notice, together with other government-approved allowances.
Salary payments are subject to Management Services Circular No. 06/2025.
