Creative works are now being accepted for a wide range of arts and cultural competitions.

The North Central Provincial Department of Culture has announced that the acceptance of creative works for the North Central Province Arts Festival 2026 has now commenced.

Creative works will be accepted until 28 August 2026. Artists, writers, photographers, filmmakers, singers and other talented individuals in the North Central Province are invited to submit their creations for the festival.

Provincial Director of Culture Ms. Durga Jayasinghe stated that this year’s festival will also be conducted under a wide range of competitive categories.
