Presidential Road Safety Awards 2026
The Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development together with the National Council for Road Safety has organized the “Presidential Road Safety Awards Ceremony – 2026”.
The programme aims to recognize and appreciate individuals, institutions and organizations that have made significant contributions towards improving and promoting road safety within Sri Lanka's transport sector.
Contributions and initiatives carried out from 01 January 2025 to 30 June 2026 will be considered.
The awards also aim to encourage the adoption of best practices, innovative approaches and exemplary initiatives that contribute to safer roads and safer transportation in Sri Lanka.
Applications and nominations are invited under the relevant award categories, including categories open for public nomination.

ප්රවාහන, මහාමාර්ග හා නාගරික සංවර්ධන අමාත්යාංශය සහ මාර්ග ආරක්ෂාව පිළිබඳ ජාතික සභාව එක්ව “මාර්ග ආරක්ෂණ ජනාධිපති සම්මාන – 2026” වැඩසටහන සංවිධානය කර ඇත.
2025 ජනවාරි 01 සිට 2026 ජූනි 30 දක්වා කාලය තුළ ශ්රී ලංකාවේ මාර්ග ආරක්ෂාව ප්රවර්ධනය කිරීම සඳහා විශේෂ දායකත්වයක් ලබාදුන් පුද්ගලයන්, ආයතන හා සංවිධාන ඇගයීම මෙම වැඩසටහනේ අරමුණ වේ.

போக்குவரத்து, நெடுஞ்சாலைகள் மற்றும் நகர அபிவிருத்தி அமைச்சும் வீதி பாதுகாப்புக்கான தேசிய சபையும் இணைந்து “ஜனாதிபதி வீதி பாதுகாப்பு விருதுகள் – 2026” நிகழ்வை ஏற்பாடு செய்துள்ளன.
01 ஜனவரி 2025 முதல் 30 ஜூன் 2026 வரையான காலப்பகுதியில் இலங்கையின் வீதி பாதுகாப்பை மேம்படுத்துவதற்காக குறிப்பிடத்தக்க பங்களிப்புகளை வழங்கிய தனிநபர்கள், நிறுவனங்கள் மற்றும் அமைப்புகளை பாராட்டுவதே இதன் நோக்கமாகும்.
