Advanced Certificate in Data Protection Law – 2026

The Department of Commercial Law, Faculty of Law, University of Colombo, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the Advanced Certificate in Data Protection Law – 2026. This programme is offered at SLQF Level 02.

Admission Requirements

• Applicants should possess a minimum of six credit passes in one and the same sitting of the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination.
• A credit pass in English is required.
• Prior knowledge of Law is not necessary.

Payment of Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee of LKR 1,500 should be paid to the following bank account:

Submission of Application

The following documents should be submitted:

• Duly completed application form
• Duplicate copy of the bank payment slip
