🇬🇧 Vacancy Details – English
Applications are invited from qualified citizens of Sri Lanka for the following vacancies at the Ruwanwella Water Supply Project under the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB).
1. Engineer (Mechanical) – 01 Vacancy
Monthly Salary Options:
- Option 01: Rs. 240,000 + Cost of Living Allowance
- Option 02: Rs. 190,000 + Cost of Living Allowance
- Option 03: Rs. 180,000 + Cost of Living Allowance
Qualifications: Relevant recognized engineering degree and professional membership or equivalent qualification, subject to the particular salary option.
Option 01 requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, while Option 02 requires at least 2 years of relevant experience under the degree and membership route. Alternative government service experience requirements are specified in the advertisement.
Option 03 requires a relevant recognized degree and professional membership or equivalent qualification.
2. Management Assistant – 01 Vacancy
Salary: Rs. 69,015 + Cost of Living Allowance
Educational Qualifications:
- G.C.E. O/L: Six subjects in one sitting, with four credit passes including Sinhala/Tamil, English and Mathematics.
- G.C.E. A/L: Passed three subjects, excluding General English.
- Diploma in Computer Studies or English from a recognized institution approved by TVEC, with a minimum duration of six months, or an equivalent qualification.
📌 General Conditions
- Age: Below 64 years on the application closing date.
- Appointments are on a project contract basis, initially for one year.
- Annual renewal may be considered based on satisfactory performance.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.

- முகாமைத்துவ உதவியாளர் – 01 பதவி
💰 இயந்திரவியல் பொறியியலாளர் சம்பளம்: ரூ. 180,000 / 190,000 / 240,000 மற்றும் வாழ்க்கைச் செலவுக் கொடுப்பனவு (தகுதிகளுக்கேற்ப).
💰 முகாமைத்துவ உதவியாளர் சம்பளம்: ரூ. 69,015 மற்றும் வாழ்க்கைச் செலவுக் கொடுப்பனவு.
