Central Provincial Council Chief Ministry and Ministry of Education Invitation for Bids 2026 National Competitive Bidding notice for school construction and repair projects

The Central Provincial Council – Chief Ministry and Ministry of Education has published an Invitation for Bids (IFB) under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) for several school construction, classroom development, toilet block, roof repair, retaining wall, and maintenance projects in the Central Province. Eligible and qualified bidders registered with CIDA may submit bids for the projects listed below before the closing date. Full project details including bid numbers, BOQ values, CIDA requirements, bid security, contract periods, and bidding document fees are given below in a mobile-friendly tile layout.

Bid Security

Special Note

Bids of bidders who have not fulfilled the specified technical, financial and other qualification requirements will be rejected. The Ministry of Education, Information Technology and Cultural Affairs of the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council invites sealed bids from qualified contractors for implementing development works under the Province Specific Development Grant (PSDG) and School Building Rehabilitation Programme.

These projects include construction of smart classrooms, school buildings, laboratories, bridges, and repair works in several schools across the Ratnapura, Kegalle, Kalawana, Dehiowita, Rambukkana, Pelmadulla, Balangoda and Embilipitiya areas.

Contractors registered with CIDA in the relevant grade are eligible to submit bids.
