The University of Colombo Institute for Agro-Technology and Rural Sciences (UCIARS), Weligatta, Hambantota invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Instructor in Computer Technology – Grade II.

🎓 Educational Qualifications

Applicants may qualify through one of the following qualification and experience pathways:

• First or Second Class in a B.Sc. Special Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering from a recognized University.
• A Pass in a B.Sc. Special Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering;
  OR
  First or Second Class in a B.Sc. General Degree with Computing as a subject component,
  together with one year of experience in computing.
• A Pass in a B.Sc. General Degree with Computing as a subject component;
  OR
  First or Second Class in a B.Sc. General Degree where Computing is not a subject component,
  together with two years of experience in computing.
• A Pass in a B.Sc. General Degree where Computing is not a subject component together with three years of experience in computing.
• Any other Degree together with a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science / Computer Technology from a recognized University and one year of experience in computing.

📝 Selection Method

Selection will be made through an Aptitude Test and Interview.

💰 Salary

Salary Code: U-AS 2 (II)

Rs. 85,305 – 3 × 2,400 – 92,505 (EB) – 94,905 – 14 × 2,400 – 128,505 per month.

Government-approved allowances applicable to the University system will also be paid.
