University Grants Commission has released a circular for restructuring th BA (External ) Degree programme offered by universities under university act.
Main Recommendations are

English Language Test for Sri Lanka Principal Service
The exam will be conducted in April 2021 in Colombo. Every officer of the Principal Service should acquire proficiency in the link language within three years from the date of recruitment. If the officer got C or Higher pass in GCE O/L Exam, no need to sit for this.

Teachers who placed to National schools should go to the relevant school and get the letter from principal and assume the duty. for provincial school Placement they will get the appointment letter from Secretary of relevant Provincial Education Ministry. Western province teachers should get the info from western province education department website.
