Selected Candidates for Law College Entrance Exam



List of the Selected Candidates or the Law college Entrance exam has been released. Sri Lanka Law college has released a special announcement with the list of candidates qualified for the Examination.

The said examination is scheduled to be conducted by the Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka on 20th July 2025.

The Admission cards for The Examination will be published on the website of the Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka 10 days before The Examination.

The Examination candidates can download the Examination Admission card using their National Identity Card number.

University application for students whose results were withheld (2024 A/L)


The University Grants Commission (UGC) has decided to call applications for university admission online from 17th June 2025 to 1st July 2025 from the applicants whose results of the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination 2024 had been withheld by the Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka previously.


Further details on submitting applications are mentioned in the previously published newspaper advertisement on calling for applications for university admission for the academic year 2024/2025 which has been published on the official website of the UGC (www.ugc.ac.lk).

  • Grades 6,7,8,9 - Junior Division (750 - 1000 words)
  • Grades 10,11,12,13 - Senior Division (1000 to 1750 words)
Conditions of the Competition 
  • Only the children studying in Government and International Schools are eligible for this competition
  • In the rear side of the Essay, the Principal of the School should certify the essay to be of the relevant student after placing the official seal
  • All essays should be hand written on one side of A4 size paper
  • The attached coupon should be filled and pasted on the rear side of the essay

Qualifications
