Pension Revision Circular for Pensioners

Ministry of Public Administration has released the Circular of Revision of pension based on the entitled salary for the 01.01.2018, 01.01.2019 and 01.01.2020 as per the 2025 budget proposals.

Circular No - 15/2025

This revision should be implemented under three phases in the following manner

01.

Revision of pensions of all public officers and officers in three armed forces, who retired on or before 01.01.2018, based on the salary to which entitlement was to be made on 01.01.2018 by the circulars mentioned in the first paragraph, should be implemented from 01.07.2025. Also, beneficiaries, who are receiving Widows’/Widowers’ and Orphans’ and disabled pension benefits for the government officers, who demised or retired before that date whilst in service or demised after retirement, are also entitled to this benefit under this revision

EMF Application for the teachers who went Duties for las time has been posted to their home address.

New, Fresh Teachers can get the Application form from School Principal and fill and send to the exam department.

Training for EMF Duty for freshers will be given before assigning exam duty as EMF

The EMF application forms for teachers who previously served on duty have been dispatched to their respective home addresses.

Other teachers can obtain the EMF application form from the school principal. Once completed, the form should be submitted to the Examination Department.

EMF Training for the teachers will be provided prior to assigning them any duties as an EMF.

PLEASE NOTE

Relevant letter with instructions and EMF 1 & EMF 2 (for Freshers) Application Forms are sent to School Principals from Department of Examinations.

A Person has been arrested on suspicion of threatening the ZDE

A person who insulted and threatened the Zonal Education Director has been arrested. The suspect's daughter, a relative of the suspect, who lives in Kalmunai, works at the Hali Ela Sri Shammuganathan Tamil School and is interested in discussing a transfer with Zoanl Director.

The suspect visited the Hali Ela Zonal Education Director's office on the morning of the 27th and after a heated argument, the suspect threatened to lose his job, and the Zonal Education Director has filed a complaint with the Nari Ela Police Station

Accordingly, the police said that following the investigations carried out, the suspect was arrested that afternoon while he was at the Hali Ela house where the relative resides, and that it was revealed that he was a clerk at the Sri Jayawadardenepura University and had retired from University.
