Applications are invited for the Master of Education Degree Programme from University of Jaffna.

Admission Requirements

Any bachelor’s degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Education from recognized University / Institute.

Or

Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree from a recognized University / Institute.

Course Fee - 250 000

Medium - English / Tamil

Duration - One Year

Applications Procedure:

Application forms could be obtained in person from the Faculty of Graduate Studies, on submission of the deposited bank slip for Rs.1000/- to the University Collection Account number 162100310000891 by using the reference number 190162500001951 at the People’s Bank.

Those who wish to send the downloaded application form obtained from the website should attach the receipt of the payment to the University Collection Account number 162100310000891 by using the reference number 190162500001951 at the People’s Bank.

Duly completed applications should be sent to the Senior Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Jaffna, Thirunelvely by registered post or by hand on or before the closing date of application. This programme applied for should be indicated as “Application for Master of Education - 2025” on the top left hand corner of the envelope.

Guidance for the payment

Please pay at any branch of the People’s Bank using the usual deposit slip. Fill your personal information on the slip and the reference number should be included as 190162500001951. Take and keep a photocopy of the slip with you before providing it to the university.
