Work Assistant (Departmental)

• Assist in financial reporting and accounts preparation
• Monitor and analyze food cost and identify variances
• Monitor unit budgets and operating costs
• Maintain inventory and purchasing records
• Evaluate suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality
• Monitor daily cash movements including collections and deposits
• Conduct internal audits for restaurant and hotel operations
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Provide financial insights and operational cost analysis

• Minimum 3 years experience in the Hotel / Restaurant sector
• Part qualification in Accounting (AAT / CA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience in food cost analysis and inventory control
• Experience in internal audits and financial monitoring
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting systems
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

• Prepare and update detailed construction programmes
• Develop method statements and mobilization schedules
• Prepare procurement schedules
• Monitor project progress and prepare weekly and monthly reports
• Conduct delay analysis and recommend recovery plans
• Strong knowledge of project planning tools
• Experience using planning and project management functions within ERP systems

• BSc in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
• Minimum 5 years experience in project planning in construction industry
• Professional membership (IESL or equivalent) will be an added advantage
