Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Electronics Engineer Grade III at the Centre for Educational Technology and Media (CETMe), Open University of Sri Lanka.

Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess a B.Sc. Engineering Degree from a recognized university or higher educational institution, specializing in:
- Electrical Engineering;
- Electronics Engineering; or
- An equivalent qualification.
Method of Recruitment
- Selection will be made through a structured interview.
- Applicants obtaining 40% or more at the structured interview will be eligible to be considered for selection.
Salary Scale
U-EX 1(II) – Rs. 85,305 – 3 × 2,020 – Rs. 91,365 (EB) Rs. 93,765 – 12 × 2,400 – Rs. 122,565 per month
The advertised salary scale will become fully operative from 01.01.2027. Salary placement applicable for 2026 will be made according to the relevant University Grants Commission circular.
Main Responsibilities
- Operation, maintenance and management of professional and broadcast-quality audio-visual systems.
- Management of equipment used in CETMe audio-visual studios.
- Preparation of technical specifications.
- Conducting technical evaluations.
- Supervision of equipment installation.
- Performing other related engineering duties assigned by the University.
Preference: Preference will be given to candidates possessing relevant experience in a similar engineering position.
