Required Academic and Professional Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Networking or a related field, with at least three years of relevant experience in a managerial position.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Networking or a related field, with six years of relevant experience in a managerial position.

• Professional membership of the Computer Society of Sri Lanka with six years of relevant experience in a managerial position.

• A relevant NVQ Level 07 qualification with eight years of relevant experience in a managerial position.

Technical and Management Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, Cisco technologies and emerging technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization’s IT strategy in line with its business objectives.
• Lead, mentor and manage the information technology team.
• Oversee networks, servers, data storage and other IT infrastructure.
• Implement cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
• Manage the IT budget, resources and technology investments.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and external service providers.
• Plan and manage digitalization and process automation initiatives.
