📢 Recruitment Details
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Sri Lankan citizens for recruitment on an open basis to the post of Legal Officer – Grade III in the Executive Officer Service Category of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism.
🎓 Basic Qualifications
- Applicants should have been sworn in as an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
- Applicants should possess at least 03 years of active professional experience as an Attorney-at-Law after being sworn in;
- OR possess at least 03 years of experience in a legal post in a government institution after being sworn in as an Attorney-at-Law.
- Applicants must be Sri Lankan citizens and should possess an excellent character.
- Applicants must possess adequate physical and mental fitness to serve in any part of Sri Lanka and perform the duties of the post.
🎂 Age Limit
Applicants should be:
- Not less than 21 years
- Not more than 45 years
The age requirements should be satisfied as at the closing date of applications.
💰 Salary Scale
The applicable salary scale is:
Rs. 82,150 – 10 × 2,400 – 8 × 2,940 – 17 × 3,900 – Rs. 195,970 per month
Salary will be paid in accordance with the provisions of Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025 dated 25.03.2025.
🏛️ Appointment
- The post is permanent.
- The appointment is subject to a probation period of 03 years.
- The relevant Efficiency Bar Examination should be passed within the prescribed period.
- Officers are required to obtain the prescribed official language proficiency according to applicable government regulations.
📝 Selection Method
Recruitment will be made based on the results of a structured suitability assessment interview conducted by an interview board appointed by the Public Service Commission.
Marks are allocated for areas including:
- Additional educational qualifications
- Additional professional experience
- Language proficiency
- Knowledge of Information Technology
- Performance at the interview

විදේශ කටයුතු, විදේශ රැකියා හා සංචාරක අමාත්යාංශයේ නීති නිලධාරී III ශ්රේණියේ තනතුරු සඳහා අයදුම්පත් කැඳවා ඇත.

வெளிநாட்டு அலுவல்கள், வெளிநாட்டு வேலைவாய்ப்பு மற்றும் சுற்றுலா அமைச்சின் சட்ட அலுவலர் தரம் III பதவிக்கான விண்ணப்பங்கள் கோரப்பட்டுள்ளன.
மொத்தமாக 03 வெற்றிடங்கள் காணப்படுகின்றன. விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் இலங்கை உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் சட்டத்தரணியாக சத்தியப்பிரமாணம் செய்தவர்களாக இருப்பதுடன், அதன் பின்னர் குறைந்தது 03 வருட சம்பந்தப்பட்ட தொழில்முறை அனுபவம் பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும்.
வயது எல்லை 21 முதல் 45 வயது வரை ஆகும்.
