📢 Vacancy Announcement
The Colombo Municipal Council (CMC), through its Public Assistance Department, invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for engagement as Vocational Training Instructors (External) – 2027.
Selected instructors will conduct vocational training programmes in their respective fields. Candidates should have appropriate professional qualifications, relevant experience and the ability to impart practical knowledge to trainees.

💰 Payment / Allowance
Selected vocational training instructors will receive an allowance of Rs. 3,800 per training day.
- One training day consists of 7 hours.
- Payment is specified on a per-day basis.
- This is an external instructor engagement.
🎓 Eligibility and Qualifications
1. Age Requirement
Applicants must be between 21 and 65 years of age on the closing date of applications.
2. Physical and Personal Qualifications
- Be physically and mentally fit to perform the assigned duties.
- Possess a good personality.
- Have the ability to teach effectively.
3. Educational Qualifications
Applicants must have passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in one sitting, with passes in six subjects, including a language (Sinhala, Tamil or English) and Mathematics, with proficiency in two other subjects.
Applicants must also have passed the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in at least three subjects in a single sitting, excluding the General Knowledge Test.
4. Professional Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- A Diploma Certificate or qualification at NVQ Level 4, Level 5 or an equivalent or higher level relevant to the respective training course, awarded by a government-recognized institution.
- The ability to impart knowledge and practical skills relating to the relevant subject within the specified training period.
5. Professional Experience
Applicants should possess at least two years of relevant work experience.
6. Other Requirements
- Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Must be of good character and conduct.
- All required qualifications must have been completed by the closing date specified for applications.
📝 Selection Procedure
Selection will be made through an interview.
Applicants must also make a short presentation related to their relevant subject during the selection process.
📋 Contract and Training Period
The duration of training courses may vary depending on the respective programme.
A separate agreement will be entered into with the Colombo Municipal Council for each relevant training period.
The final decision regarding engagement of selected applicants rests with the Municipal Commissioner.

කොළඹ මහ නගර සභාවේ මහජන ආධාර දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව මගින් 2027 වර්ෂය සඳහා බාහිර වෘත්තීය පුහුණු උපදේශකවරුන් බඳවා ගැනීමට සුදුසුකම් ලත් අයදුම්කරුවන්ගෙන් අයදුම්පත් කැඳවනු ලැබේ.
පුහුණු පාඨමාලා:

දීමනාව: පැය 07ක පුහුණු දිනයක් සඳහා රු. 3,800/-.
වයස් සීමාව: අයදුම්පත් භාරගන්නා අවසන් දිනට වයස අවුරුදු 21 සිට 65 දක්වා.
අධ්‍යාපන සුදුසුකම්: අ.පො.ස. සාමාන්‍ය පෙළ විභාගයේදී එක් වරකදී භාෂාවක් සහ ගණිතය ඇතුළුව විෂයයන් 06ක් සමත් වී තිබිය යුතු අතර, අ.පො.ස. උසස් පෙළ විභාගයේදී සාමාන්‍ය පොදු පරීක්ෂණය හැර අවම වශයෙන් විෂයයන් 03ක් එක් වරකදී සමත් වී තිබිය යුතුය.
වෘත්තීය සුදුසුකම්: අදාළ ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ NVQ 4, 5 හෝ ඊට සමාන හෝ ඉහළ පිළිගත් සුදුසුකමක් තිබිය යුතුය.
පළපුරුද්ද: අදාළ ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ අවම වශයෙන් වසර 02ක පළපුරුද්දක් තිබිය යුතුය.
තෝරාගැනීම: සම්මුඛ පරීක්ෂණයක් සහ අදාළ විෂය පිළිබඳ කෙටි ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමක් මගින් සිදු කෙරේ.
අයදුම් කිරීම: නියමිත අයදුම්පත සම්පූර්ණ කර අවශ්‍ය සහතික පිටපත් සමඟ ලියාපදිංචි තැපෑලෙන් කොළඹ මහ නගර සභාවේ නාගරික කොමසාරිස් වෙත යොමු කළ යුතුය.

பயிற்சிப் பாடநெறிகள்:

கொடுப்பனவு: 7 மணித்தியாலங்கள் கொண்ட ஒரு பயிற்சி நாளுக்கு ரூ. 3,800 வழங்கப்படும்.
வயதெல்லை: விண்ணப்ப முடிவுத் திகதியில் 21 முதல் 65 வயதிற்குட்பட்டவராக இருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
கல்வித் தகைமைகள்: க.பொ.த. சாதாரண தரப் பரீட்சையில் ஒரே அமர்வில் மொழி மற்றும் கணிதம் உட்பட 6 பாடங்களில் சித்தி பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும். க.பொ.த. உயர்தரப் பரீட்சையில் பொதுச் சாதாரணப் பரீட்சை தவிர்த்து ஒரே அமர்வில் குறைந்தது 3 பாடங்களில் சித்தி பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
தொழிற் தகைமைகள்: உரிய பயிற்சித் துறையில் அரச அங்கீகாரம் பெற்ற நிறுவனமொன்றினால் வழங்கப்பட்ட NVQ தரம் 4, தரம் 5 அல்லது அதற்கு இணையான அல்லது உயர்ந்த தகைமையைக் கொண்டிருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
அனுபவம்: குறைந்தது 2 வருடங்கள் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட துறையில் தொழில் அனுபவம் இருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
ஏனைய தகைமைகள்: இலங்கைப் பிரஜையாகவும், நல்லொழுக்கம் மற்றும் சிறந்த கற்பித்தல் திறன் கொண்டவராகவும் இருத்தல் வேண்டும்.
தெரிவு முறை: நேர்முகப் பரீட்சை மற்றும் உரிய பாடம் தொடர்பான குறுகிய அளவிலான சமர்ப்பிப்பு மூலம் தெரிவு செய்யப்படுவர்.
விண்ணப்பிக்கும் முறை: மாதிரி விண்ணப்பப் படிவத்தை பூர்த்தி செய்து, கல்வி மற்றும் தொழிற் தகைமைச் சான்றிதழ்களின் பிரதிகளுடன் பதிவுத் தபால் மூலம் அனுப்ப வேண்டும்.
