The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Director / Public Relations.

🎓 Educational Qualifications
Applicants should possess either:
- A degree with First Class or Second Class Honours from a recognized university.
- OR professional qualifications approved by the University Grants Commission upon the recommendation of OUSL.
💼 Experience
Applicants should have 07 years of experience, preferably in Public Relations or Managerial / Administrative work, including 03 years at a senior level.
Applicants above the prescribed age limit may be considered for contract appointment, subject to applicable government rules and regulations.
💰 Salary and Benefits
Salary Scale: U-EX 2 (II)
Rs. 113,690 – 8 × 2,400 – 8 × 2,940 – Rs. 156,410 per month
The salary scale takes effect from 01 January 2027. Salary placement for 2026 will follow UGC Circular No. 02/2025 (i).
Other applicable allowances may be paid in addition to the salary.
Permanent appointees are eligible for applicable provident fund, Employees' Trust Fund and university pension arrangements, as described in the official notice.

Applicants should obtain the prescribed Academic Application Form from the official OUSL vacancies website.
- Complete the application form.
- Attach certified copies of the birth certificate, NIC, educational qualifications, transcripts and relevant experience documents.
- Applicants employed in higher educational institutions, government departments or corporations should apply through the relevant institutional head.
- Send the completed application by registered post.
- Mention the post applied for at the top left-hand corner of the envelope.
