Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the three-year, full-time National Diploma in Technology (NDT) course conducted in English at the Institute of Technology, University of Moratuwa, Diyagama, Homagama.

Basic Eligibility
- Applicants must be below 24 years of age on 31 December 2025.
- Applicants must have passed Physics, Chemistry, and Combined Mathematics or Higher Mathematics at one sitting of the 2023, 2024, or 2025 G.C.E. (A/L) Examination.
- Applicants for Marine Engineering Technology or Nautical Studies must have a Credit Pass (C) in English Language at G.C.E. (O/L).
- Applicants below 20 years of age on 31 December 2025 will receive preference for the two Maritime Studies courses. A special medical test and interview will apply.
- Full-time students already registered at a UGC university (except OUSL) or a higher education institute under the Ministry are not eligible.
Selection and Application Fee
Shortlisted applicants will sit an aptitude test. From those who pass, selection will follow A/L Z-score merit order using 40% all-island merit and 60% district quota. Field allocation considers aptitude-test marks and the applicant’s preference order.
