📢 Efficiency Bar Examination 2025 (II) 2026 – Official Notice

The Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA) has released the official notice for the

Efficiency Bar Examination for Officers in Grade I, Grade II and Grade III of the Management Services Officers' Service – 2025 (II) 2026 

📅 Application Period

🟢 Opening Date: 21.02.2026 at 8.00 a.m.
🔴 Closing Date: 13.03.2026 at 12.00 midnight

⚠️ Applications can be submitted only within this period.

Central Environmental Authority

Competitive Examination for Recruitment to the Post of Environmental Officer (MA 5-1, Grade III)

This notice is issued for the attention of applicants who applied for the post of Environmental Officer (MA 5-1, Grade III) in response to the advertisements published in the Sunday Observer newspaper on May 15, 2025 and October 19, 2025.

The written competitive examination for this post is scheduled to be held on:

Rejection of Applications

Applications submitted only via Google Form without proper forwarding, applications without valid proof (receipts) of the Rs. 1,000/- examination fee, or applications where the fee was not paid before the due date, will not be considered under any circumstances.

Disqualification

Even if an applicant passes the competitive examination, the Central Environmental Authority reserves the right to disqualify them without calling for an interview if it is later revealed that they do not meet the basic qualifications specified in the recruitment notice.

Calling for Interviews

Based on the number of existing vacancies, only applicants who obtain the highest marks in the written examination will be called for interviews to verify qualifications.

Final Decision

Regarding any issues arising in addition to the previously notified recruitment conditions, the Director General of the Central Environmental Authority holds the authority to make the final decision.

Issuance of Admission Cards

Admission cards for eligible applicants will be sent by the Sri Lanka Foundation via post. Additionally, an SMS or email containing a link to download the admission card will also be provided.

Identification Requirements

Candidates must produce one of the following along with the admission card:

• National Identity Card (NIC)

• Valid Passport

• Driving License

These documents are required to confirm identity at the examination.
