Applications are invited from suitably qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Laboratory Attendant (On Contract) at the Institute of Allergology and Immunology, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

Qualifications
Applicants should satisfy one of the following qualification routes:
- Pass the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in six subjects with at least two Credit (C) passes in not more than two sittings, together with an appropriate NVQ Level 2 or 3 proficiency certificate relevant to laboratory duties.
- OR pass the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in six subjects with at least two Credit passes in not more than two sittings and have one year of working experience in a relevant field with industrial skills.
Other Requirements
- Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the post.
- Must be of good character.
Salary & Benefits
The monthly salary is Rs. 62,375/- inclusive of allowances. The selected candidate will also be subject to the applicable university provident fund, pension scheme and Employees' Trust Fund arrangements.
Method of Recruitment
Recruitment will be made through a trade test and a structured interview.
